New Year - New Vision!
We’ve got some big and exciting news to share, read on!
Some of our customers might have already noticed that our bread is not being stocked at certain stores any more. And the reason being is that we are taking our bakery in a whole new direction in the upcoming year and as one of the steps in this transition process we are wrapping up our wholesale program by the end of the year. So this means starting after Xmas our bread will not be stocked at any grocery stores in the region and will only be available at our bread truck at the Kelowna Farmers Market and at Polene on Bernard.
We understand that lots of our long standing customers will be affected by this change, particularly those, who don’t live in Kelowna. However, we are quite excited for the new vision that we have for the bakery and we are hoping that our customers will support us on this new chapter much like it happened 5 years ago when we first took over Wine Country Bakery.
We feel so much gratitude for all of our our customers who have been supporting us on this journey all along with its ups and downs, successes and crises and there certainly were a few along the way, because our customers and our business partners and the relationships that we’ve built through the years is what gives this all meaning and what makes the passion keep going. We’ve received so many heartwarming messages along the way - people saying our loaves being the best thing they’ve ever tasted, people flying our bread to different countries to share over holidays, we’ve even had a few customers (even families) who switched from gluten free to being able to enjoy bread again. All of this tells us we are doing something wonderful and it would have not have happened without all of the love and support from our customers and our community.
Our bakery has always been about sharing love and passion for good food, and we look forward to continuing our journey together with you!
